First up, we have some exciting news about Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. According to Deadline, the second project from DC Studios, created by James Gunn and Peter Safran, will hit theaters on June 26, 2026. The film will feature Millie Alcock as Supergirl, who was raised on a rock, a chip off of Krypton, and witnessed everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life. This sets the stage for a much harder-edged Supergirl than we're used to, which is an intriguing concept.
Next, we have some interesting updates about Booster Gold. The upcoming DCU Max series is reportedly set to begin filming on July 8, 2024. While this information should be taken with a grain of salt, as production dates can change, it does give us something to look forward to. There are also rumors circulating that Booster Gold has already been cast, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Moving on to the MCU, there's a new trailer or the first teaser trailer, if you prefer, for The Rings of Power season 2. The trailer looks badass, and it's clear that the series is gearing up for an action-packed season. We also have a new trailer for House of the Dragon season 2, which looks just as exciting.
Lastly, we have some news about Daredevil: Born Again. According to Deadline, the series will be released on Disney+ in September 2023, with two episodes available at launch and weekly releases thereafter. We also have a new logo for the series, which looks awesome.
